Born in the heart of Kumasi — Ghana's Garden City — Peculiar People is a dynamic gospel music ministry founded by music legend and keyboardist Nsanku Pekay. What began as a passionate call to worship has grown into one of Ashanti Region's most vibrant choral expressions of faith.
We are not ordinary. We are a peculiar generation — handpicked, Spirit-filled, and sent with a sound that breaks barriers, heals souls, and glorifies God across Ghana and beyond.
To use music as a vehicle of evangelism, healing, and community transformation across Ghana and the world.
To raise a generation of worshippers who understand that music is ministry, and ministry changes nations.

Nsanku Pekay
Ghana’s Finest Keyboardist • Music Producer • Entrepreneur
Nsanku Pekay is a gifted keyboardist, studio engineer, music producer, and entrepreneur based in Kumasi, Ghana. Known as one of Ghana’s finest keyboardists, he is the visionary founder of Peculiar People — a gospel music ministry that blends technical excellence with spiritual fire. His debut album “Never Give Up” (2018) is a jazz fusion masterpiece that showcases his versatility as a musician and minister.
